Our goal is to help you help your dog become a well-behaved companion and family member through the use of dog-friendly positive reinforcement training methods and exercise. We want your training experience to be fun and successful. Dogs and humans both should enjoy working together as you practice your training exercises and strive to achieve your training goals.
Basic Puppy Good Manners:
Puppies 8-20 weeks on class start date. Learn basic good manners – polite greeting, sit, down, walk on a leash, come, wait, etc. – and fun tricks. We also discuss puppy topics.
Basic Adult Good Manners:
For dogs and puppies over the age of 20 weeks on the class start date. Learn basic good manners – polite greeting, sit, down, walk on a leash, come, leave it, trade, etc. and fun dog tricks.
Intermediate Good Manners:
Requirements to register for the Intermediate class the dog must have graduated from the Puppies/Adult Basic Manners class or receive approval. In the Intermediate class we will learn a more focused approach to the behaviors learned in Basic Manners in addition to a distance down, relax, shaping, Bravo.
Advanced Good Manners:
Requirements to register for the Advance class your dog must have graduated from the Intermediate class or receive approval. In the Advance class we will learn hand signals to the basic behaviors, stay, blind down, distance stand, and tricks.
Basic Good Manner’s for Adopted/Foster Dogs:
This specialized class is designed to teach the same behaviors in the Basic Adult Good Manners class. In addition we will discuss behavior assessments and learn how to identify when your dog is stressed, enjoying or just tolerating the circumstance or situation. We will also work on learning a new trick so your dog can build his/her confidence.
